About:

Lawrence and Mathilde Andres moved to Ontario from Switzerland in the late 1970’s, pioneering what we now know as organic dairy in Canada. In 1992 Lawrence initiated the first organic dairy producers' group in Ontario. In 1994 the segregation of organic milk became a reality and on September 24, 2001, Harmony Organic was officially launched. Today, they work closely with 14 certified organic family farms who raise and tend to the cows that produce Harmony Organic milk.

All Harmony Organic Dairy farms share a philosophy that focuses on the highest standards of animal welfare and environmental sustainability. The emphasis on their animals’ well-being is the main objective of Harmony Organic. They go above and beyond to provide comfort and joy to their animals, allowing them to live out their lives as nature intended. The cows graze on fresh, chlorophyll rich, nutritious grass during the growing season. As a result their cows are happy and healthy and produce the best quality milk for you to serve your family.
