When Dawn was a kid, she spent her summers on a family farm in Midhurst, Ontario. When the outdoor work was done, she'd help her grandma bake. The front door was always open and neighbours and friends would pop by for a chat and something delicious to eat. In 2011, Dawn opened Lazy Daisy’s Café, bringing the spirit of her farm to the city. Since then, Lazy Daisy’s has been recognized as one of the Top Brunch Restaurants and the Number One Breakfast Sandwich in the city by Toronto Life, BlogTO, Now Magazine, Eater Magazine and USA Today. Her buttermilk biscuits are the foundation of their award-winning breakfast sandwiches, but are perfect with any meal. Their frozen bake-your-own biscuits taste just like they do at Daisy's: golden, buttery, delicious, and ready in less than 30 minutes.
